Belarus considering issuing Br 500,000 banknote

MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – The introduction of a Br500,000 banknote in Belarus is under discussion, BelTA learned from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
“We consider issuing a new banknote valued at Br500,000. The final decision will be made taking into account the current economic situation and will be announced by the National Bank in advance,” the bank said.
