Scotland’s Clydesdale Bank will issue two million £5 polymer plastic banknotes in March 2015 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the opening of Forth Bridge and also to celebrate the bridge’s nomination for the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014.

The note also features a portrait of Sir William Arrol, whose company constructed the bridge among many other landmarks in Scotland.
